We’ve welcomed 146 trainee junior doctors, along with 57 new foundation year one doctors.

Every August trusts across the country welcome new recruits, while the previous year’s intake head off on the next step in their careers.

As part of their training, first year foundation doctors undertake work shadowing, while the new recruits rotate among hospital departments to learn all aspects of their role.

We hold a detailed induction for the trainees, and provides them with on-going support in their new role.
