Statement from our interim Chief Executive, Tony Chambers- Thursday 19 March
Tony Chambers, interim Chief Executive, Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust, said:
“We can confirm that four elderly patients, who tested positive for COVID-19 have sadly died at Queen’s Hospital. The patients had been very unwell with significant other health conditions.
“Our thoughts and condolences are with the patients’ families at what is undoubtedly a very distressing time.
“We ask that their privacy is respected.”
