We’ve celebrated the graduation of 11 doctors from our Academy of Emergency Medicine, which was set up in 2018 by consultants in our A&E to train and educate our doctors.

It’s the London Marathon this Sunday (26 April) and among those taking on the challenge are four runners, including staff and those running in thanks for the care loved ones received, raising money for the King George and Queen’s Hospitals Charity.

The IPC team also visits wards often, making sure staff are bare below the elbows with no watches or jewellery, and that hand washing is strictly enforced to prevent germs from spreading.
