Our Trust Board will be moving to hold bi-monthly meetings in the new financial year.

Moving meetings from monthly to every other month is a common pattern across the NHS which is known to work well. This model will also bring us in line with our partner organisation, NELFT, with which we share our Chair, Joe Fielder.

Meetings will be held during the last week of the month, allowing committees to meet in advance which will improve reporting and enhance transparency across the Board.

It will also enable us to hold development training sessions for our Board members during months when official meetings are not held.

The first meeting of the new financial year will be held on Wednesday 27 May. The current format will remain the same.
