Thanks for your lovely feedback!
Our staff work tirelessly to care for their patients, often under challenging circumstances.
Their devotion to giving the best care possible often leads to lots of positive feedback from our patients – but even we were bowled over when not one but three letters praising great care in our hospitals were printed in local newspapers over the last two weeks! So we wanted to share them with you – while thanking our patients and their families for their kind words.
One, from David Horne printed in the Romford Recorder, thanked staff at Queen’s Hospital for looking after his mother-in-law so well just before he died, and said their ‘professionalism and genuine concern helped to ease the family’s loss’.
Also in the Romford Recorder was a letter from Derek Trayler praising the quick treatment of his wife in our Emergency Department. Staff at King George Hospital, particularly Gentian ward, were thanked in a heartfelt letter from Nick Rattre, who was admitted just before Christmas and went home on Boxing Day. This was published in both the Romford and Ilford editions of the Recorder series.
And our Maternity team, which saw one of its busiest Christmases ever with 25 babies born on Christmas Day, was also in receipt of praise from grateful new families, via social media.
Well done to our brilliant teams!
