Stacey Solomon to be a guest head judge at our Big Birthday Cake Bake Off – a double celebration of the 25th birthday of King George Hospital and 70th birthday of the NHS, just after our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

TV star Stacey Solomon will be coming to King George Hospital on Wednesday (4 July), to be our special celebrity head judge in our Big Birthday Cake Bake Off competition, as we also hold our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Some of our staff will be baking birthday cakes in celebration of the double anniversary – 25 years of our King George Hospital and 70 years of the NHS. Their tasty efforts will be judged by Stacey, who’ll get to decide who is the ‘Star Baker’.

The bake off judging will be held following our (AGM), which everyone is welcome to attend to find out more about what’s been going on in our hospitals over the last year.

The event will start from 2.30pm with a market place made up of stalls with teams across our Trust sharing information about their work in the Yoo Restaurant at King George Hospital. The meeting will then be held in the Lecture Theatre in the hospital’s James Fawcett Centre at 3.10pm.

Then from around 4.10pm, it’ll be back into the restaurant for the bake off judging.

So make sure you join us on the day to hear about some of our key achievements, before enjoying our own version of Bake Off!
