Raise a cuppa to celebrate our NHS!

cakes

Cakes on a stand We’ll be celebrating the 71st birthday of our NHS on Friday 5 July by taking part in the NHS Big Tea – which follows on from the success of the BIG7TEA campaign held to celebrate 70 years of the NHS last summer.

We want you to get involved by holding tea parties with your family and friends, helping to raise money for our charity. Any funds you raise can be dedicated to whichever ward or department you like, choosing a cause close to your heart.

Jenny Petchey, clinical nurse specialist from our Dementia team, said: “Whether it’s a builder’s brew or a fruity rooibos, we want everyone to raise a cuppa, so dust off the old china, rally your friends, family and colleagues, and come together to celebrate the NHS’ birthday.”

Our charity can help you get started with your tea party, including providing posters, banners and bunting. Get in touch with Marina Sherriff on 01708 504335.
