Our Chief Medical Officer, Magda Smith, has taken part in an important national campaign to encourage young people to have the vaccine.

Work is well underway on major improvements to our Emergency Department at King George Hospital – which will include more space to care for patients experiencing mental health issues, with an area specifically for children.

We have introduced Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) at Queen's Hospital to help improve the care we give to patients in our Emergency Department and reduce the need for them to be admitted to hospital, ensuring beds are available for patients who really need them, which ultimately improves overall flow throughout the hospital.
