Our Chief Executive, Matthew Trainer, was interviewed on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme this morning, talking about how we’ve been dealing with the Omicron variant, and the current situation at our hospitals.

We launched our Teenage and Young Adults’ (TYA) Cancer Service, overseen by clinical nurse specialist Virginia Gonzalez, in March 2020, just as the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

In her day job, pharmacist Ramandeep Kaur leads our Electronic Prescribing and Medicines Administration project, she also does a shift each month in our Vaccination Hub at King George Hospital, as a way to give back after spending 142 days shielding during the pandemic due to her arthritis.
