Ana Duarte was one of the first patients to return to King George Hospital after planned surgery restarted on Wednesday (10 June).

An Extraordinary Board meeting will take place as a virtual/dial-in meeting on Wednesday 17 June 2020 at 3pm to approve our annual report and accounts for 2019/20.

Dr Fawad Hussain has been telling us about his own patient experience and recovery from Covid-19. Fawad is the on-site medical director at King George Hospital, and is a consultant dermatologist. A series of videos have been published to give our patients guidance on their pelvic health.

During the peak period of Covid-19 routine planned surgeries for our patients had to be postponed, in line with national guidance. From this week, we will begin a phased re-introduction at King George Hospital (KGH). 

This week is Breastfeeding Celebration Week; although Covid-19 has changed the way some of our support services can be accessed, our Maternity team has been making sure women get the help they need with feeding their babies. We spoke to Charline Holness, our Baby Friendly Initiative Lead, to find out more.

From Monday 8 June, we are moving our antenatal service from the 1^st floor of King George Hospital to the ground floor.
