Our cancer services team release latest film: Getting to know chemotherapy
Our cancer services team has released the second in a two-part series of films, entitled Getting to know chemotherapy. Filmed and edited by our Medical Photography department, the series aims to help cancer patients and their families feel more at ease on their visits to our cancer centre. Both films were patient-made and donor-funded with two of our patients, Sara and Mairead, guiding viewers through the chemotherapy process.
The first film, Getting To Know Us, won the “Support for Caregivers, Friends and Family” category at the prestigious 2018 Patient Experience Network National Awards.
