We’re hosting a nursing recruitment day on Saturday 17 June – where nurses and midwives could bag a job on the spot!

It’s a great opportunity for people interested in working at our Trust to speak to current staff and managers about what it’s like working at ours hospitals, and the support available to help them develop their career in nursing.

Anyone who is qualified as a nurse or midwife is welcome to go along – whether they have recently qualified, have more experience behind them, or are returning from a career break.

Interviews will take place on the day and those who are successful will receive a job offer there and then!

The open day takes place from 10am to 4pm at Queen’s Hospital, Romford.

Fay Deasy, a practice development nurse for paediatrics who joined our Trust in 2002, is keen to encourage other nurses to join her.

She said: “My role gives me the chance to cover so much ground – it’s fantastic! I support both new and established nurses in providing care for kids and families.

“From the start it really stood out to me how keen our Trust is to make roles accessible to all, ensuring that everyone has opportunities for education and development. I love the fact that they make the effort to find out what people’s passions are and help them progress from there.

“Everyone is so committed and we put our patients at the heart of all we do to ensure they always receive everything they need.”
