Nominate your hospital hero in our Pride Awards

Caroline

Caroline Moore If you’ve received great care, had a good experience or have seen a loved one well looked after in our hospitals; you can say thank you by nominating the team or member of staff involved for a Pride Award.

Nominations are open in our annual Pride Awards, which recognise our staff and volunteers who have gone above and beyond to deliver outstanding care to our patients.

There are ten awards up for grabs across a range of categories including team of the year, star of the year and outstanding leader.

Winning these awards helps our staff to realise how much you appreciate their hard work, and it can means everything when they are nominated by people they’ve really made a difference to – our patients, their families, and colleagues.

Last year, Caroline Moore (left), our Director of Nursing for Specialist Medicine, won a Lifetime Achievement award. Talking about what it meant to her, she said: “I felt amazingly valued to be nominated. I didn’t expect to win as I honestly believe I come to work to do my job and I was just doing that. So I was surprised to win and humbled as there are lots of people in this Trust who also deserve it. I’m lucky to do a job I love, and this was the icing on the cake!”

If you know an individual or a team at our Trust who deserves recognition for their hard work, submit your nomination by Thursday 31 October. More information about the award categories and the nomination form can be found on our Pride Awards page.
