It’s our AGM today!

Therapies team

Our therapies team

We’re holding our annual general meeting (AGM) today (Wednesday 5 July) – and you’re more than welcome to come along and join us to hear all about our key achievements over the last year.

It’s being held at King George Hospital, Barley Lane, Goodmayes. Before the main meeting, we’re holding a market place in the Yoo restaurant area of the hospital from 2.30pm, where teams from our hospitals will be hosting stalls to share their own improvement journeys with you. You’ll also have the chance to meet two very special guests, Bentley and Mercedes, our Pets as Therapy dogs.

The AGM starts at 3.25pm in the James Fawcett Education Centre.

Our biggest achievement in the last year has been coming out of special measures. Our Chair, Maureen Dalziel, and acting Chief Executive, Jeff Buggle, will be reflecting on our improvement journey and how we’ve performed against our operational plan targets.

We’ll also be launching our Annual Report and you’ll be able to hear about the experience of one of our patients first hand, as they share their story of being cared for in our hospital.

We look forward to seeing you there!
