Father Christmas works with our charity to offer live video chats

Santa Claus

Father Christmas

It’s busy time of year for him, however, Father Christmas is working with the King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity this festive season, offering live video chats!

To help raise much-needed donations for our charity, video chats can be booked for a donation of £10.

Fundraising Office Manager, Marina Sherriff said: “We realised that due to the pandemic many children would not be able to enjoy visiting Father Christmas this year.  And as we needed to come up with some innovative ways to raise money for our hospitals, we thought organising for Father Christmas himself to call the children via video chat would be perfect!

“The donations for bookings will help us provide special extras for our patients this Christmas, such an ensuring everyone in hospital over the festive period receives a present. And can you imagine the faces of your children when they realise that Santa has called to speak to them personally?”

Video calls, which will take place via Microsoft Teams, are simple to arrange: email bhrut.charity@nhs.net for a booking form and the elves will be in touch to arrange the date and time and to accept your donation.  Father Christmas will have all the information needed to make this a very special and magical experience!
