David Sloman praises our staff for showing pride and ambition

Latest news

Sir David Sloman, NHS Regional Director for London, visited Queen’s Hospital on Monday (11 November) where he praised our staff for showing enormous pride and ambition.

During his visit he attended our relaunch event for our LGBT+ network, as well as met our interim Chief Executive Chris Bown, and Chair Joe Fielder.

He also visited our Emergency Department, went to see our Oncology team and joined a Genba (floor) walk in our Radiotherapy department, and was shown around our Stroke unit.

Mr Sloman said: “What I saw was really impressive. The people I met who showed me around demonstrated enormous pride and ambition - they are doing right by their patients.”
