Charlie, 70, ready to jump out of a plane for our charity!

Charlie Richardson, one of our dedicated volunteers, is preparing to jump out of a plane and take part in his first skydive on Friday 19 October.
Charlie, who has always fancied doing a skydive, is doing it to raise money for the King George and Queen’s Hospital Charity, specifically for our Volunteer team.
The grandfather-of-seven is also keen to raise money in thanks for the great care his wife Marian, 64, received when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
He’ll be doing his skydive at Maidstone Airfield in Kent.
He said: “My family think I’m mad but I’ve got bolder as I’ve got older. I’ve been getting a bit more nervous as it’s been getting closer though!
“I love being a volunteer, every day is different and when someone says thanks, you know it’s all worth it, so I’m keen to raise as much money for the team as I can.”
Charlie is already well on his way to his £2,000 aim. To find out more, or sponsor him, visit his JustGiving page.
