Resident doctor strike

From Tuesday 7 to Monday 13 April, resident doctors (formerly known as junior doctors) will be taking strike action. During this time, our services will be under increased pressure.

Getting the right care

Please help us make sure emergency care is available for those who need it most:

Only attend A&E in life-threatening emergencies.
For non-urgent issues, please contact your GP, your local pharmacy, or NHS 111 (online or by phone).

Appointments and planned care

If your appointment is affected, we will contact you directly.
If you do not hear from us, please attend your appointment as planned.

Victoria Miles-Gale - Head of Patient Experience

I’m Head of Patient Experience in our Trust, with responsibility for patient experience, voluntary services, our bereavement team and Chaplaincy.

I’m aware that, every single day, our patients have a range of experiences of the services we provide. By listening to them and asking how we could do better, we have many opportunities to improve.

King George and Queen’s are my local hospitals and I am passionate about continually improving the overall experience patients, relatives and carers have every time they come into contact with our Trust. We’re on a journey towards outstanding and I am very proud to be part of that.
