Covid-19 data for our hospitals
We publish Covid-19 related data here about both our hospitals, King George in Goodmayes and Queen's in Romford, every week.
Below is a snapshot of information taken on Wednesday 22 June 2022.
- 15 in-patients with laboratory confirmed Covid-19.*
- Zero in-patients newly diagnosed in the previous 24 hours.
- Zero patients with laboratory confirmed Covid-19 in critical care (intensive care / high dependency). **
- 2009 patients have sadly died and had a laboratory confirmed positive Covid-19 test result within 28 days of death.
- 8050 patients with Covid-19 have recovered and been discharged. ***
- Our critical care capacity has a total rate of 77.19 per cent (excluding NICU).
- Our total staff absence rate is currently 314 (4.01 per cent), of which eight are in isolation and 44 have tested positive for Covid-19.

- One in-patient newly diagnosed in the previous 24 hours.
- Zero patients with laboratory confirmed Covid-19 in critical care (intensive care / high dependency). **
- 1998 patients have sadly died and had a laboratory confirmed positive Covid-19 test result within 28 days of death.
- 8010 patients with Covid-19 have recovered and been discharged. ***
- Our critical care capacity has a total rate of 71.93 per cent (excluding NICU).
- Our total staff absence rate is currently 255 (3.33 per cent), of which 12 are in isolation and 21 have tested positive for Covid-19.
* Swab taken within the last 14 days.
** This includes our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) beds.
*** This includes medically suspected cases between March and October 2020, not just laboratory confirmed.
