Covid-19 data for our hospitals
We publish Covid-19 related data here about both our hospitals, King George in Goodmayes and Queen's in Romford, every week.
Below is a snapshot of information taken on Thursday 26 May - below this, you can see the data the previous week.
- 24 in-patients with laboratory confirmed Covid-19.*
- Seven in-patients newly diagnosed in the previous 24 hours.
- Zero patients with laboratory confirmed Covid-19 in critical care (intensive care / high dependency). **
- 1998 patients have sadly died and had a laboratory confirmed positive Covid-19 test result within 28 days of death.
- 7956 patients with Covid-19 have recovered and been discharged. ***
- Our critical care capacity has a total rate of 80.70 per cent (excluding NICU).
- Our total staff absence rate is currently 274 (3.58 per cent), of which nine are in isolation and 21 have tested positive for Covid-19.

- 45 in-patients with laboratory confirmed Covid-19.*
- Three in-patients newly diagnosed in the previous 24 hours.
- Zero patients with laboratory confirmed Covid-19 in critical care (intensive care / high dependency). **
- 1992 patients have sadly died and had a laboratory confirmed positive Covid-19 test result within 28 days of death.
- 7917 patients with Covid-19 have recovered and been discharged. ***
- Our critical care capacity has a total rate of 85.96 per cent (excluding NICU).
- Our total staff absence rate is currently 275 (3.59 per cent), of which nine are in isolation and 24 have tested positive for Covid-19.
* Swab taken within the last 14 days.
** This includes our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) beds.
*** This includes medically suspected cases between March and October 2020, not just laboratory confirmed.
