The team at our Long-Covid clinic, based at King George Hospital, have been recognised for their work to support patients with on-going Covid-related difficulties.

A small crew from international news agency Associated Press visited our clinic last Tuesday (11 May) to meet patients including Rohit Patel, who spent three months at King George Hospital, including six weeks in an induced coma. With the support of our clinic, he is hoping to return to his much-loved job on the Asda checkout next month.

The crew were also able to meet several professionals, from both our Trust and the North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT), who work together to run the clinic. These included respiratory consultant Adam Ainley, physiotherapist Jane Clark, and psychologist Marc Kingsley.

You can read the story on the AP website, and also watch their video. So far, the story has already been picked up by the Independent, and around the world including Orlando, and the San Francisco Chronicle.
