  • For non-urgent issues, please contact your GP, your local pharmacy, or NHS 111 (online or by phone).

Queen's Hospital welcomes back popular piano

Colin playing the piano

Colin playing the piano

Our atrium piano is back at Queen's Hospital. We had to move it during Covid, but now it's back in place. Colin, who loves playing this piano, has also returned.

Colin isn't just a piano player. He's also a big supporter of our hospital charity. He's raised £17,700 over the years. His hard work and love for our hospital have made him a key part of our community. He's even received fan art!

Colin:

I’m so glad the piano is back - I really missed playing it. It’s great to have it in the atrium again!

When we had to move the piano during the pandemic, everyone missed it. We had lots of requests to bring it back, so we knew it was important.

We're now inviting anyone who can play to join Colin and play the piano in the atrium again. The music helps our hospital have a more inviting atmosphere.

If you want to play the piano, just ask our reception staff. They will show you where to get the key.
