Polio vaccination clinic at King George Hospital on Wednesday 26 October

Parents are being urged to ensure their child is protected against Polio by attending a half-term vaccination clinic, with several being held across our north east London.

A special Polio clinic is being held at King George Hospital on Wednesday 26 October, where 500 appointments will be offered between 8.30am and 8pm.

The clinic is targeted at children aged between 6 and 9 years old, who are up to date with their Polio vaccinations and had their pre-school booster at least 12 months ago.

Avoid queues on the day and book an appointment online. Alternatively walk-in to the clinic on the day to be seen. Please bring your child’s red book.

There are signs that the virus is spreading in London and the number of children vaccinated is lower than it should be, so please do take advantage of this opportunity.
