Patients Know Best

PKB SCREENSHOT

You will soon be able to access your health record online through a portal called Patients Know Best (PKB).

PKB SCREENSHOT

In this first phase, once you sign up, you will be able to see your personal information and check upcoming hospital appointments from your phone, laptop, or tablet. You will still receive letters and texts from us in the usual way.

Over the next few months, more features will be added including the ability to see information leaflets, hospital letters, scan results and blood tests.

PKB is free, easy-to-use, and hosted within the secure NHS network, which means that your personal and health information is encrypted and only you as a patient, and the people you choose, can access it.

What do I need to do?

You need to sign up through the NHS app, so make sure you sign up to that so you’re ready for PKB going live. Once you’ve signed up, you can access through PKB directly or the NHS app.

Find out more on our PKB web page.

This story was updated on Monday 11 September to reflect a change in the date that PKB will launch.
