As we enter the new year, we’re looking back at some of the things we achieved in 2023, as we continue to care for our patients and colleagues.

Our patients and staff were treated to an early Christmas present when Santa and the Grinch came to visit Queen’s Hospital, handing out gifts and spreading festive joy.

Junior doctors are on strike from 7am on Wednesday 03 January to 7am on Tuesday 09 January. This is the longest strike in the history of the NHS.

First-time parents Katie Bowers and Stefan Wyatt, both 33, knew they were due to welcome their baby on a special day this festive season, as Katie was due on New Year’s Day.
