Our Hyper Acute Stroke Unit on Harvest A ward at Queen’s Hospital has become the latest to achieve silver in our ward accreditation scheme.

A new Spectra Optia Apheresis System has arrived at Queen’s Hospital, which will help us to expand our red cell exchange service for patients with sickle cell disease, an inherited condition which affects red blood cells.

Our A&E team at King George Hospital have been working closely with colleagues in the London Ambulance Service (LAS) to reduce patient handover delays, managing to lessen the time by 27 minutes over the last year.

We’re making a small increase in the cost to park at our hospitals from Friday 1 March 2024 – bringing our charges in line with other local car parks.
