Very high temperatures are expected this week, so we’re asking everyone to take a little extra care if you’re visiting one of our hospitals.

Our teams are working hard to keep services running safely.

Please take a few simple steps to stay safe and comfortable:

Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated
Keep cool by wearing light, loose clothing
Plan ahead and allow extra time for your journey if needed

Biggest ever staff survey response rate

More of our colleagues than ever took part in the 2024 NHS staff survey, with our response rate shooting up from 41% in 2023 to 55%.
