Our Urogynaecology service has been recognised by NHS England as a specialist centre for carrying out complex operations.

When Lesley began her NHS career in 1987 as a filing clerk at Barking Hospital, she was responsible for managing medical records and X-rays. In those days records were stored manually and X-rays came on heavy film.

We’ve been named Training Hospital of the Year by future surgeons from all three of the main orthopaedic training centres in north east London.
