Our Chief Executive Matthew Trainer has ranked in the Health Service Journal’s top chief executives for 2023, revealed on Monday 20 March.

HSJ, a trade magazine aimed at healthcare leaders, has been compiling the list annually since 2014. It’s judged by leading industry figures looking at criteria including the example they set to peers and employees, and contribution to the wider health and social care system.

Matthew said: “It’s nice to be included again, especially as it reflects on the strength of the executive team we now have in place at our Trust.

“I am glad the work we have started is being recognised here, and in our recent CQC well-led report.”
