Our teams are working hard to keep services running safely.

Please take a few simple steps to stay safe and comfortable:

Can’t make your appointment?

If you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Find out more on how to manage your appointment.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to keep our patients, visitors and staff safe during the hot weather.

Congratulations to Ocean A at Queen’s Hospital, which received silver in our ward accreditation scheme.

Ward accreditation is part of our efforts to improve and standardise the quality of care given to patients at our hospitals.

Wards are assessed by corporate nurses and subject matter experts. They provide a report that tells the ward what they're doing well and how they can reach the next level.

This covers patient experience, safety, how staff are feeling, how efficiently the ward runs, and how well they're doing on equality, diversity and inclusion.

Charge Nurse, Melieka Hamilton-Jones said she is proud of the team on their silver award.

Melieka said

I know it’s going to mean a lot to the patients as well, because we do strive for excellence on this ward.

We know we make sure on admissions and in discharges that we have a clear safety netting for the patients.
