Congratulations to Jacquie Harrison, Transformation Lead in our IM&T team, for being presented with a You Made a Difference Award.

Jacquie was nominated by Devesh Sinha, Lead Stroke Consultant and Chief Clinical Information Officer, for her work on Careflow Connect.

Careflow is an electronic patient record (EPR) system for hospitals, which provides clinicians with the ability to improve decision making on patient care and planning.

In his nomination, Devesh wrote that the new system had become a “major success” as “no site has had more than 25,000 handover notes within four months.”

Devesh also highlighted Jacquie’s engagement with doctors and nurses in the project, and her problem solving. He added: “She truly inspires clinical engagement in the new team.

The award was presented by Kathryn Halford, our Chief Nurse, who praised Jacquie’s “hard work and determination.”
