Holocaust Memorial Day

Tony Minter, one of our chaplains, reads a prayer to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
A copy of the prayer can be found below:
Living God,
We praise you for all that is good and precious in human life; the value, potential and uniqueness of every individual, today we remember all those who lives were affected by the Holocaust, whose humanity was diminished by prejudice, discrimination, torture, starvation, and death.
Living God,
This day we recall with regret and profound sadness but also great hope,
that from the tragedy of the past, a future day will come,
when the worth of all will be recognised,
the rights of all respected,
the good of all pursued,
and peaceful harmony among all nations be enjoyed.
Amen.
