X-Ray services reopening at Barking Community Hospital
We are pleased to advise our new and improved X-Ray services at Barking Community Hospital will re-open for patients on Friday, 30 January 2026.
Patients will benefit from a newly refurbished X-Ray area and will notice new and improved services.
This investment by BHRUT in updating the X-ray equipment to the latest Digital Technology ensures the future proofing of our X-ray services and brings significant improvements to diagnostic image quality and patient experience.
Submitting X-ray requests
Please ensure that requests for X-ray examinations are submitted through the mailbox:

Walk-in X-ray services
Chest X-rays and suspected fractures do not need an appointment. These scans are available as a walk-in service.
Patients should bring their X-ray request form with them when accessing our X-ray services at BHRUT sites.
