Care of the Elderly, Dementia and Sunflower Cancer Suite.
King George Hospital and Queen's has eight wards dedicated to the care of the elderly. We look after the highest population of over75s in the whole of the Greater London area. Complex care needs and the lack of local respite residential care facilities results in the elderly being in hospital for weeks, sometimes months on end until follow up care can be provided in the home or community.
The vital work that the elderly care and dementia teams provide is supported by the Charity weekly. Your help and support is very much appreciated. Please feel free to circulate the details to your friends, golf buddies, families and work colleagues for consideration – all very welcome!
I do hope you are able to join us for a fabulous day playing golf at the beautiful Warley Park Golf Club or by joining us for an evening enjoying good food, good humour and fun for all!
