A huge thank you to Stacey Solomon who has pledged over £17,000 of the amount she raised on ITV quiz show The Chase, to our charity, the King George and Queen’s Hospitals Charity.

The money will be spent on improving our children’s services. It will go specifically to our Haemoglobinopathy team, which supports children with hereditary conditions affecting the haemoglobin of their red blood cells.

Mum-of-two Stacey, of Dagenham, amazed the audience with her fantastic performance on the show.

Her sister Jemma Solomon is a paediatric nurse at our Trust, specialising in haemoglobinopathy, so the money her sister has raised will go directly towards improving services for her patients.
