Patients' Stories
'My 20 month old son was diagnosed with a brain tumour at Queen’s. We were transferred to Great Ormond Street Hospital where we stayed for 7 weeks. We are now back at Queen’s after a successful operation, his tumour was benign. All the NHS staff we have encountered are truly wonderful, caring people and without them my son would not be here!'
'I would like to say a big thank you to Ms Tebbitt and her
team in the Gynaecology department for their caring and
helpful attitude towards me whilst a patient under their
care. They made me feel that
I mattered and offered me great care. They have restored
my faith in the NHS and I would like everyone to know how
lucky we are to have such good
people looking after us.'

'How lucky we are to have such a wonderful hospital?
We must never take it for granted.
Doctors and staff are simply the best in the world.
Long live Queen’s Hospital.'

have saved my life. You surely are the best.'

'The NHS looked after my dad during his last days. They were
absolutely wonderful. No one could have done more.
Thank you NHS for making my dad’s last hours with us as good as they could
have been. You are fantastic.'
'To all the technicians -thanks for everything - great
gang.
It was lovely getting, plastered with you!'
Angie
'Contrary to complaints by others about waiting times for
surgery, I am proud of the NHS. In April, I had a fall
at work and was taken to A&E in a timely, professional manner to treat
a dislocated shoulder.
The NHS is the best in the world.
God bless NHS'
'Many, many thanks for your thoughtfulness and care over the past 8 months of chemo treatment I’ve received on and off the ward. I’ve appreciated your friendship and personal care.'
